# mta-sts presentation and cookbook (June 2021)

**This presentation gives an early “heads up” on MTA-STS, an evolving standard already in use by many major email systems including the NCSC. Bruce shares his ‘cookbook’ that covers how to set MTA-STS up. The ‘cookbook’ is an early output from C-TAG for WARP members to use.**

**“Brilliant, clear guidance on how to adopt this measure along wide DMARC and other DNS update work, very timely and very well presented!” said an attendee.**

**A version of the presentation was retired in early 2021. It was used in four full WARP meetings and in addition, has been seen by over one hundred and fifty public sector organisations as of Summer 2021.**

**The presentation has been updated during Summer 2021 and the June 2021 version is attached. This version is being presented monthly to support the focus of NCSC (Mail check team) on MTA-STS, for public sector organisations.**<br>
